How employees opt in to SMS notifications

This is an internal, employee-only application — not a consumer product. Viirtue PTO is a private time-off management tool used exclusively by current employees and contractors of Viirtue Inc. It has no public sign-up, no customer accounts, and does not solicit or message members of the general public. Because the opt-in screen shown below lives inside an authenticated employee account, it cannot be reached without company login credentials — this page documents that exact flow for review purposes.

Who can opt in

Only individuals with an active Viirtue Inc. employee or contractor account. Access to Viirtue PTO itself is provisioned directly by the company — there is no self-registration.

Where opt-in happens

After logging in with their company email and password, an employee navigates to their own Profile page within the application. There, under "Personal info," they see the exact screen reproduced below.

Both boxes are unchecked by default. An employee must actively check a box, enter their mobile number, and save to opt in. Nothing is pre-selected, and using the application does not require opting in — email notifications are always sent regardless of this choice.

Message frequency: varies by activity — typically fewer than 10 messages per month per person.
Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, or simply uncheck the box(es) above in the application.
